Description **Job Summary**

Engineering Technician performs special equipment assembly which encompasses wide range of operations including but not limited to mechanical assembly, alignment and fit, electrical wiring, setup of electronic components, startup debug and troubleshooting.

Assure that manufacturing operations follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Procedures as defined by company polices insuring that FDA and Quality Standards are met.

• Perform mechanical assembly of equipment and fixtures guided by engineering drawings.

• Read engineering prints and interpret functional components relations. Read BOMs and assembly instructions

• Read principal electrical diagrams and understand electrical system function on device level.

• Follow safe practices in assembly work and components handling. Follow electrical safety and good practices.

• Participate as assigned in all phases of equipment projects from start to finish.

• Participate in multiple projects and balance priorities to ensure timely delivery of error-free product to support manufacturing operations in multiple facilities.

• Work following safety manual guidelines at all times. Observe good practices maintaining highest level of work environment.

**Education and Experience Requirements**

• High School diploma or Technical Degree.

• Ability to understand diagrams and equipment drawings.

• Understanding of common engineering practices as well as maintenance knowledge is desired.

**Skills and Abilities**

• Minimum 2 years equipment or custom machine building experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude. High school graduate level math.

• Ability to use assembly and measurement tools, hand power tools.

• Strong trouble shooting skills

• Experience using precision measuring & gauging equipment

• Experience using material-handling equipment

• Follow all safety and work rules and practices

• Strong work ethic and highly motivated

• Meticulous attention to detail and well organized

• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.


• GD&T and advanced blueprint reading.

• Basic welding experience. Weld equipment familiarity


• Ability to use Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
