**6 month contract via Kelly Services**

**Years of Experience:** Minimum of 2 years experience preferred



**Type of Experience:** Manufacturing or production environment



**Educational Requirements:** High School or GED, Associate Degree in a Technical field preferred



**Special Skills/Abilities:**




+ Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience using statistical methods for evaluating data, SAP programs preferred.

+ Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, time management and planning skills

+ Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

+ Ability to understand P&IDs and flowsheets

+ Ability to understand technical concepts



**Additional information/functions:**



The Technician is responsible for assisting the Production Engineer in the areas of safety, quality, environmental, continuous improvement, and manufacturing. The Technician coordinates activities throughout all phases of work related to equipment, plants, operations, products, systems, and procedures to achieve timely, safe, and cost-effective project completion. The Engineering Technician works with operators and other internal/external customers, area Supervisor(s) as well as suppliers/contractors/fabricators as necessary, to perform and complete tasks.



**Responsibilities:**




+ Supporting engineer(s) in trouble-shooting production systems

+ Assist in the commissioning and start-up of new systems

+ Data collection

+ Complaint resolution

+ Implementing process changes in the manufacturing areas which may include updating routing MOCs (Management of Change) documents, updating procedures and related P&IDs

+ Creating PMs

+ Reviewing and creating spare parts lists

+ Following up on open items related to Safety, Quality or Productivity

+ Duties also include involvement in hazard reviews, incident investigations, waste minimization, overall productivity improvements, Operator training.

+ Driving change, problem solver and data driven.





**Important information:** This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch. Applicants must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
