Kelly is recruiting for direct hire Associate Lab Techs in Eagan, MN. An Associate Lab Tech performs laboratory assays utilizing principles, theories, and techniques of cell culture and media preparation.

Monday Friday


8 am 5 pm


$19-$20/hr


**Responsibilities** :


Provides operational support for the Genotoxicology Laboratory, activities including (Ex. media/buffer preparation, cleaning activities, and equipment, maintain mammalian cell cultures, Aseptic Technique).


Works on routine assignments per written procedures, where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.


Perform Ames assays independently


Perform Chromosome Aberration, Mouse Lymphoma and Mouse Micronucleus assays in conjunction with senior staff


Proper and safe use of hazardous chemicals


Proper and safe handling of potentially pathogenic materials


Contributes to the overall operations and to the achievement of departmental goals


Follows Regulations, International Standards, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


Thorough understanding of Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices


Other duties as assigned


**Requirements:**


Bachelors Degree or equivalent


Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)


Proficient in English Oral & Written communication skills


Must be able to work in Lab setting with exposure to Animals/biohazards / Chemicals


Must not have allergies to applicable species in this facility (rodents, guinea pigs, bunnies)


Must be able to wear appropriate PPE


Must be able to work in environment with variable noise levels


Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time


Ability to lift/push/pull 10 lbs routinely/ often / occasionally


Clarity of Vision, and able to identify and distinguish colors


Must be able to perform activities with repetitive motions


Maybe required to work Holidays, weekends, and overtime
