Kelly Engineering Resources, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Environmental, Health, & Safety and Sustainability Technical Analyst **,** for a **multi-year engagement** at one of our Global Medical Device clients in **Pittsburgh, PA.** This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position. **This could be a virtual/Remote position** .........The Environmental, Health, & Safety and Sustainability Technical Analyst is a key member of the EHS&S Team and will have responsibilities for all EHS & Sustainability Data Analysis, Training Management, and Technical Support for the EH&S Data Management Systems. In this role, the Technical Analyst will provide analytic support to the Director of EHS&S in making strategic data-related decisions by collecting, analyzing, segmenting, tracking, and reporting data pertinent to the EHS&S Programs; including data gathering and coordination with key stakeholders to gain access to relevant data. The Technical Analyst will be the subject matter expert related to all environmental, safety and sustainability metrics through data reporting, assessment and analytics. In this role, they will develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external clients. This position reports directly to the Director EHS&S.

**Essential Functions**

Collects and analyzes data from multiple sources and databases in order to develop EH&S statistics/trends and determines the most informative approaches to summarizing the data and communicating analytical results.

Provides management with detailed analyses to identify deficiencies in safety performance milestones throughout the organization and assists business units in evaluating the health of their organization.

Design, develop, implement, and maintain, as required, reporting tables, metrics, and reports that drive key business decisions. Must be able to create innovative or customized templates & formats, written reports & presentations, and training materials.

Provides data management support for the ETS EHS&S SharePoint Site, the EHS&S Data Management Portal, and other data collection systems.

Monitors, manages, and analyzes data entered into the data collection systems to ensure data integrity, consistency, and gap closure.

Tracks, categorizes, and processes incidents, incident reports, and corrective actions in the EHS&S Data Management Portal. Verifies effectiveness of corrective measures and identifies potential for safety performance degradation or enhancement.

Responsible for producing performance-based, interactive learning experiences to meet the business needs of the company. Works virtually in a collaborative team environment and uses proven instructional design methodologies to design and develop SCORM learning content.

Collaborate as Subject Matter Expert (SME) with Corporate EHS Director to develop, update, and revise course material content; including, but not limited to, Power Point Presentations, participant guides, activities, instructor guides, webinars, and other training methods.

Lead technical training course design and development by offering technical expertise in developing course materials. Selects and recommends appropriate media and delivery methods for coursework.

Collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to analyze needs and implement SCORM learning content.

Collaborate with IT, third party contractors, technical architects, developers, database specialists and engineers in order to implement and deploy new tools across the company, as well as, improve application and model quality of existing tools. Identify problems in the testing and configuration process. Evaluate the functionality and efficiency of the processes.

Assists in the development, delivery, assessment and improvement of health and safety training.

Supports strategic Sustainability programs and activities related to Workplace, Communities, Customers, Supply Chain and Environment.

Collects data for compliance reporting on greenhouse gas emissions, utilities, chemicals and other environmental impacts.

Assists in the development, delivery, assessment and improvement of sustainability training.

**Core Competencies**

Data Analysis and Management Systems Requirements

Demonstrated experience performing safety analytical and operation tasks. Demonstrated experience with qualitative and quantitative accident analysis techniques

Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office applications and mobile technologies, as well as, demonstrated experience using other MS Office products to monitor, track, analyze, and report on large amounts of data.

Knowledge and experience with SQL, web-based reporting, or business intelligence (BI). Experience with other systems for data query and report building are strongly preferred.

Training and Learning Management Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency with web development tools and learning technologies. Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and methods.

Advanced proficiency with web development tools (XML, SCORM, video deployment, and file optimization techniques) and learning technologies (iSpring, Adobe Flash, Action Script, Photoshop, Captivate, and Articulate).

Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles or user interaction

Ability to deliver impactful and interactive training

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, engineering, or related subject, and 3 years' experience mining and reporting on data using tools such as MS Power BI, SQL, and Excel against object-oriented databases, with tool implementation experience, OR any equivalent combination of experience and education which demonstrates the skills, knowledge and abilities required to perform the work.

A minimum of 5-7 years experience in EH&S, training, and data analysis. Must have demonstrated experience in research, analytical and statistical assessment, and evaluation methods and techniques to analyze a large volume of data and identify trends and issues.

Thorough knowledge of US federal laws and regulations pertaining to safety, health, and environmental programs.

Ability to apply critical thinking methods: define problems, collect and interpret relevant data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and implement countermeasures.

Hands on with a sense of urgency, ability to manage under pressure and manage multiple priorities and projects. Attention to detail is essential in addition to multi-tasking ability.

Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures and regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, and industry peers.

Ability to track and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to self-start and follow through on tasks.
