**Duration: 1 month (possible extension OR temp to perm )**

**Pay rate: $60.00 - $66.00/hour**


*Note: On the global epidemiology team, works within immunology spaces, the manager leads rheumatology, looking to bring in someone to work with her. For epidemiology, they wear a lot of hats, premarket, clinical trials, design, interpretation, looking for someone to help support her epidemiology characterizing patient population, conditions of disease, etc. Work a lot in the post-market phase when products are launched, post-market safety studies. Someone that can help execute post-market. Looking for someone to be a liaison to data partners. In general, someone to support in the day to day activities.


Provides technical support to the Global Epidemiology group in Pharmacovigilance & Patient Safety. This person will contribute to the design and execution of pharmacoepidemiologic studies, provide data and insights to safety and other teams and contribute to the scientific and departmental strategy. Some key areas of contribution expected for the [Position title] include: (a) contributing to the development and execution of pharmacoepidemiologic safety outcomes studies; (b) characterizing descriptive epidemiology of diseases and indications (c) contributing to regulatory submissions and responses; (d) contributing to risk management plans and other safety deliverables; and (e) communicating study design and results effectively to diverse internal and external partners. He or she has and maintains an excellent understanding of epidemiologic data sources and methods and applies them to address program needs.


Evaluate, synthesize, and communicate the epidemiology literature on any topic in both written and presentation formats.

Lead or contribute to the development of new evidence through study design, protocol development, and statistical analysis plans.

Support study start-up and collaboration logistics including developing relationships with external collaborators and data partners.

Lead aspects of study analyses from secondary sources such as administrative claims or health record data, as needed.

Contribute and develop content for sections of risk management plans, benefit-risk assessments, safety, and regulatory deliverables.

Understands the role of epidemiology in the signal evaluation and where epidemiology contributes to key safety and regulatory deliverables.

Understands current and future policies, practices, trends, developments in information affecting his/her business and organization; knows the competition; is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.

Maintains a high-level understanding of U.S. and international safety regulations and current regulatory safety review processes.


** MPH or MS with 5- 7 years of experience or MD/PharmD/Ph.D. with 2 or more years of experience in the field of epidemiology, outcomes research, or related discipline.**
