Kelly is seeking a Metrology Equipment Technician/Equipment Engineering (EE) Technician for our client in Santa Clara, CA. This 5+month assignment offers competitive pay and great benefits. Pay: **$Flexible (W-2)**

Contract Length:5+ **month contract role**

Location: **Santa Clara, CA This role is 100% On-Site** .

Schedule: **Training will be Sun - Tues, alternating Wed; 3 months on day shift and 3 months on night shift**


**Job Description:**

Equipment Engineering (EE) Technician performs functions associated with photomask production including equipments, operations and training.

EE Technician is responsible for equipment preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining. In addition, the EE Technician is responsible for improvement processes and troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line.

The EE Technician may be responsible for the buddy, trainer, and certifier levels and in charge of updating training manuals.


Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters.

High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.

Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work. Candidate will also work on FIB/STEM sample preparation and other analytical techniques like EDX.


**Qualifications include, not limited to the following:**


+ Minimum education required: BS Degree in Engineering disciplines like Mechanical, electrical or equivalent degree, no exception per sponsor. OR

+ Recent College Graduate with a physics background

+ Demonstrate substantial experience in equipment troubleshooting and repair.

+ Hands-on troubleshooting is a must.

+ Demonstrate experience with schematics for troubleshooting.
