Description **Kelly Engineering has a permanent position for a Manufacturing Engineer with the market leader in the aluminum bakeware industry.**
**Job Summary**

Our client is an industry leader in the manufacture, sale, marketing and distribution of disposable aluminum bakeware has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer. This privately held company has been in business for over twenty years and is experiencing strong growth year after year.

This position reports to the Engineering Manager. You will assist with the development and improvement of products and processes of our mid-sized manufacturing operation. We need an experienced “go-getter” who knows manufacturing and can work with all departments to make operational improvements.

**Responsibilities and Duties**


+ Provide production floor manufacturing technical support
+ Maximizes efficiency by simplifying and automating manufacturing processes
+ Analyzes the layout of equipment, workflow, and assembly methods
+ Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification
+ Provide design and engineering support for development of product and process improvement initiatives
+ Participate in project management for efficient implementation of improvement initiatives
+ Coordinate activities around standardization, documentation and control
+ Applies knowledge of engineering principles to select, design and refine machinery
+ Assist in all manufacturing activities
+ Support product costing as needed
**Qualifications and Skills**


+ Minimum 1-2 years of manufacturing experience in a high-speed, high-volume setting
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
+ Experience with continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting
+ Experience with Autocad or similar Cad software
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Experience with Project Management and scheduling software
+ Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
