ESEOB Turnaround Coordinator

+ Power Distribution Turnarounds Facilitate work with area TA, RPE and Site Electrical SMEs to determine scope with current year budget an annual plan. Include CBE. Coordinate work execution (will need Electrical training and qualification). Plan budget.

+ All Turbine, Generator, HRSG Turnarounds (planned & unplanned) (Planned Turnarounds) Facilitate work with area TA to build job list according to GTM timeline. Pull in PMs. Work with ES Biz focal point to forecast budget. Plant focal point for GTM. Maintain 10 yr plan with input from Operations Team and communication to the ES Biz focal point. (Unplanned) Facilitate work with TA, Tech Center, ME, SMEs to develop repair plan and determine how best to execute (on Daily or GTM) based on input from both groups. Facilitate regular update mtgs to keep Operations, Daily and or GTM up-to-date.

+ Centac & Demag Turnarounds - Facilitate work with area TA, RPE, ME & RE to determine scope with current year budget. Include PMs. Coordinate work execution. Plan budget.

+ Boiler Feed Water pump and motor Turnarounds - Facilitate work with area TA, RPE, ME & RE to determine scope with current year budget. Include PMs. Coordinate work execution. Plan budget. This work may use Daily Maintenance, but it may also need to use outside resources. TA Coord will need to take scope of work to Maintenance Leader to determine best course of action give current site workload.

+ Cooling Water pump, motor and fish screen Turnarounds - Facilitate work with area TA, RPE, ME & RE to determine scope with current year budget. Include PMs. Coordinate work execution. Plan budget. This work may use Daily Maintenance, but it may also need to use outside resources. TA Coord will need to take scope of work to Maintenance Leader to determine best course of action give current site workload.


NOTE: The interaction of the TA Coordinator with the Plant Team, Maintenance Team and Site Turnaround Team will be different in each of the outages above. This will be based up on size of outage, resources needed, budget, etc. The TA Coordinator will work with the PL, respective TA and Plant Area Coordinator to determine the right level of involvement.


+ Assists in development of complete job scopes, generation of value-added service request, control of add-ons after freeze date. As part of job list development, ensure scheduled services are evaluated and generated for the upcoming turnarounds.

+ Works with GTM to initiate Turnaround Planning and FEL activities in the appropriate timeframe determined by the size of the Turnaround. Ensure milestones/requirements for Gate reviews per Turnaround Authorization Cycle are met.

+ Works with GTM to develop the Work Inventory Tool (WIT) and utilizes forecasted scope to work with Reliability Engineer, Production Leader and Business Turnaround Leader to submit Turnaround budget request during the budgeting cycle each year. Maintains turnaround budget planning through the year working with Site & Business focal points.

+ Works with Operators, TAs, OL and / or People Success Team to ensure the necessary Operator coverage is set for shutdown, startup and maintenance coverage. Works with identified Operator to organize the Safe Work Permit process and location.

+ Works with Operators & TAs to ensure the necessary procedures for shutting down, clearing, isolating, re-commissioning and start up are developed.

+ Works with Operators & TAs to ensure the necessary RTMs are developed, including blind lists

+ Develops specific monitoring plans/activities.

+ Works with Operators & TAs to identify operations scaffold and insulation needs.

+ Operational activities are linked to the Turnaround/Pit Stop schedule.

+ Ensures all training requirements are identified and completed for the upcoming Turnaround / Pit Stop

+ Communication focal point for operations portion of Start Ups, Shutdowns, Turnarounds and Pit Stops.

+ Coordinate operations portion of Turnarounds and Pit Stops (i.e. Shutdown, Clearing/Tagging, Safe Work Permitting, Monitoring, Recommissioning, Start Up, etc.)

+ Works with area engineers & TAs to ensure Management of Change (MOC) requirements are followed for related projects and / or changes related to TA work.

+ Ensures personnel practice safety aspects of Operating Discipline.

+ Works with GTM to conduct formal post reviews of operational aspects of all GTM and Pit Stop Outages to identify and incorporate operational improvements for future outages to improve run to run cycle time.

+ Ensures all follow-up items identified during a formal critique are entered and captured in the Event & Action Tool (E&AT) until closure. Note: Operations Turnaround Coordinators should be the E&AT team leader and validate the effectiveness of the actions.

+ Participates in available Operations Turnaround Coordinator networks to improve effectiveness in role and leveraging of best practices.

+ The individual filling this role has detailed responsibilities in the Global Turnaround Work Process (GTWP).


**Required Qualifications:**


+ 3 or more years of experience in an operations role.

+ Able to work overtime as needed.

+ A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.


**Preferred Qualifications:**


+ Experience using SAP and Microsoft Excel.

+ Experience during turnarounds

+ Electrical knowledge, training and qualifications

+ ESEOB knowledge around turbines, generators, HRSGs, substations, rotating equipment


**Physical Requirements:**


Able to meet the following physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations:


+ Stand and walk for extended periods of time.

+ Wear all required personal protective equipment, including but not limited to earplugs, goggles, and steel-toed shoes.


**Education:**


+ High School diploma or equivalent is required.

+ High level of confidence in his / her decision-making skills

+ Excellent organization of time management skills to include prioritization, scheduling, and optimizing work forces skills and resources.

+ Overall Business / Budget knowledgeable around start-up / shutdown

+ Can look at the big picture (production versus costs, keeping safety #1) and make the correct decision

+ Can say no to requests if they are not aligned to current start-up / shutdown goals

+ Communicates/coaches up and across the organization

+ Has built positive working relationships with others in the work group that enable other roles to be successful by holding individuals accountable to perform their roles (Coaches others)

+ Thorough knowledge of the plant processes

+ Ability to work alone and in teams
