-calendering - maintaining his calendar
-lots of e-mails- RTA is going from Webmail to MS Outlook-looking for someone familiar who can work with both.
-heavy volume of phone calls, as a lot of calls come into department- will determine if for this area or if needs to be transferred to another area.
-Strong with taking notes, and detail-oriented. For example, will sit in on grievance hearings and will take notes, then type into electronic files.
-filing
-will set up video meetings, so ideally wants someone with experience- uses Zoom Meetings, but will be converting over to MS Teams.
Minimum Requirements: Applicants must have a minimum of a high school degree or equivalent. Applicant must have at least five (5) years of previous experience in an administrative/human resources related setting performing duties such as providing executive and project management support, meeting minute taking and preparation, performing purchasing requisitions and orders, composing correspondence, creating and writing reports, creating presentations, researching informational materials, responding to requests and inquiries from the public, scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and filing. The successful candidate must also have:
Strong communication skills (oral and written) and excellent customer relations skills.
Ability to organize work, set priorities, meet critical deadlines, and follow-up assignments with a minimum amount of direction and attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Internet.
