We are looking for a fantastic Executive Assistant or a Deputy Secretary with a past experience working for an Educational Institution.

Pay between $18-$22 an hour

The Special Assistant to the Deputy Director is the first contact for all inquiries to the Deputy Director-s office. This individual provides efficient and excellent professional communication and assistance with administrative decisions. The Assistant shall provide daily administrative support to the Deputy Director and develop, administer, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures to best achieve the objectives of the Deputy Director-s office. Also, the Assistant serves as an informational resource for departmental personnel regarding university policies and procedures and acts as liaison to various other college and university committees, administrators within the college and university, faculty members, and staff as well as serve as the Deputy Director-s representative with members of the clinical community on critical matters.

**Requirements**

Bachelor-s degree and three (3) years of directly comparable experience; OR eight (8)

years providing comparable advanced administrative support.

Experience working for a high ranking individual in a health related or education

enterprise.

* Ability to work with senior officials and administrators.

* Ability to handle confidential communication and information

* Understanding of, and strong commitment to, the missions, values, history, and traditions

of the UACC, Dignity Health, College and the University.

* Ability to be creative, supportive and thoughtful in problem-solving, considering the

diverse and occasionally conflicting needs and perspectives of the faculty, staff and

institution.

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with medical,

professional and administrative personnel at all levels, including outside organizations and

the public.
