Kelly Services is hiring overnight Extrusion Operators to work in Northlake, Illinois.
Do you have very good mechanical skills, and are you comfortable using hand tools in a work environment? We can train you to be one of our Extrusion Operators!
These are temp-to-hire career opportunities with a world-leading manufacturing of food packaging.
Company has 19 locations in 13 countries, this is their global location, and their head of manufacturing.
9:00 pm - 9:00 am
Accessible via Pace 309 bus
$16.75/hour to start
Promotions: You earn two $1.00 pay raises immediately upon completion of training, your pay will be $18.75/hour
Will be trained to operate extrusion machines that make rolls of plastic film for the food industry.
High school diploma or equivalent is required
This is NOT climate controlled, this is a hot environment.
Duties:
+ Performs all work safely in accordance with personal and product safety rules.
+ Inspects product for visual defects and completes inspection reports on a periodic basis.
+ Packs all good products in designated manner.
+ Makes boxes to be filled with production.
+ Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
+ Completes daily production reports.
+ Performs rework, sorting and documentation of heldware.
+ Maintains a high level of cleanliness of work areas in accordance with 5S and SQF guidelines.
+ Operating automated equipment
+ Must progress through the Scholle IPN Pay for Skills Program (skill development).
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Must be able to work day shift and night shift.
