Description FAB Process Technician second shift 2:30pm to 10:30pm

Company is a global engineering group specializing in extreme environment products and smart sub-systems for aerospace, defense and energy markets. Job Designation Perform MEMS silicon wafer processing in a cleanroom environment.

Job Core Responsibilities Performs wafer fabrication functions in the production of MEMS semiconductor devices, in one or more of the following areas: photolithography, diffusion, etch and thin films. Must be comfortable working with hazardous chemicals acids, solvents, caustics . Handling thin/fragile silicon wafers using tweezers. Read, comprehend and follow various documents including operation documents and procedures. Performs in-process testing to ensure that batches meet specifications. In areas where microscope usage is a requirement, the individual may be required to sit for prolonged periods of time and to have continuous usage of his/her eyes to look through the eyepieces to inspect product in great detail. Recognizes equipment and product problems, notifies supervisor and/or troubleshoots errors in order to achieve optimum production levels. Work exclusively in a cleanroom environment wearing a cleanroom suit, face mask, a hair net, and gloves. These essential function and basic duties may vary depending on assigned production area.

Job Specifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent education a must. Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field. Years Experience: 3+ years waferfab processing experience required; Experience in multiple process areas a benefit; Experience with MEMS processing preferred but not required. Skills: Normal hearing, speech and visual acuity Sitting in a normal seated position or standing for extended periods of time Reaching by extending hand s or arms s in any direction. Must be able to push, pull and squeeze with a moderate amount of force. Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers and/.or tweezers rather than work with whole hand s or arm s , i.e., using a keyboard. Good hand-eye coordination Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pound Basic knowledge of computer programs Word, Excel.
