Were seeking Warehouse Fabrication Technicians for a client in Milford, NH. The hours will be Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm (will train on first shift, 6:00am-2:30pm for about a month) for a total of 40-hours a week). The role will be in a fast paced, production-like environment. Projected start date is 3/29/2021 and last for 3-months (client is open to longer term placements based on company-need and performance). This opportunity could be the one youve been looking for.

Pay rate: **$15.00/hr**


Job Duties:

-


Machining parts to customer specifications.


60%- Ability to work from travelers or work orders, blueprints, specifications, drawings and process instructions.


+ Operate a variety of machines to cut, chamfer, smooth, polish, clean, and size parts to customer specifications; speeds and feeds are generally prescribed and sequence of operations specified

+ Inspect, record data, and move parts to required location.


20%- Ensure first piece run with inspection of part.


+ Conduct in-process inspection through visual and dimensional checks of parts; care is required to ensure fabricated part parallelism, angle, concentricity, thickness, finish, and any other characteristics called for in customer specifications.

+ Maintain necessary data and records.

+ Move materials in performance of duties or as directed.

+ Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to proper supervision.

+ Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment as needed with escalation to maintenance as appropriate.


15%- Set up of job to ensure use of correct print, materials, and tooling.


+ Ability to program and set up machining equipment desired.

+ Set up a variety of machines, making required machine adjustments, wheel and tooling changeovers.

+ Requires use of shop math, reading and understanding blueprints and drawings and interpreting measuring equipment.


5% - Participate in HSE/WCM and continuous improvement initiatives, train other team members when required and willingness to cross train in other departments. Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:


Good understanding of warehouse and machine operation

A quality oriented individual

A self- starter, someone who shows initiative

A team player (individual who can work well with a team)


Education & Experience:


High school diploma or equivalent is not required, but strongly recommended


Previous Manufacturing experience- machine operation, forklift, or material handling; able to lift up to 50 lbs., unassisted, and endure long periods of standing, kneeling, squatting and walking.
