**Kelly Engineering** is currently recruiting for a **(Direct Hire) (Facilities Maintenance Manager)** job located in **Greenville, NC.** Directs activities of technical personnel engaged in preparing plans, designs, cost estimates, and specifications for experimental, maintenance, or modernization programs to determine most feasible approach to technical problems. Create, maintain PMs, Inventory and Control of Parts for all Facility. Spearhead all Maintenance Project with Plant Manager with budgetary consciousness.


**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Continuously evaluate equipment, process operations, and controls to ensure personnel safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance.

+ Work closely with all disciplines, troubleshooting problems, to ensure plant processes are aligned to provide maximum output levels and efficiencies.

+ Optimize production by conducting tests, monitoring performances, and compiling studies to identify cost-saving opportunities.

+ Design plant and equipment configurations to be readily adapted to suit the product ranges and the process technologies involved, taking safety, environmental and economic aspects into account.

+ Provide control system designs, specifications, process control parameters, system testing, and start-up assistance, as required.

+ Maintain engineering records including creating and modifying Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and supporting the development of operations and maintenance standard operating procedures.

+ Install and commission and maintains new and existing equipment, monitoring developments and troubleshooting, managing contractors, and documenting process changes and additions are also an essential duty.

+ Support new product development from trial through to commercialization and improving production lines.

+ Assist in maintaining plant mechanical/electrical equipment

+ Keep abreast of current engineering trends, practices, developments, and regulatory changes, which could impact processes and products.

+ Complete special projects as needed and any other tasks assigned to support business continuity and growth.

+ Assist in the planning and execution of the 5yr capital plan for the facility and streamlining operations toward the efficient operation

+ Experience with Blueprint reading and associated organizational documents is desired.

+ Strong project management and contractor management skills.

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.

+ Works well independently and in a team context with excellent time management and organization skills.

+ Mechanical knowledge of electrical systems a plus

+ Knowledge of various types of processing equipment and processes preferred

+ Well-rounded and detail-oriented with the ability to function professionally within a corporate environment.

+ Must be able to understand what urgency means in an all-around aspect.

+ Ability to set priorities, work independently, and coordinate multiple projects utilizing available resources.

+ The ability to plan and execute a multiplicity of duties to a strict schedule requires a high level of organization and judgment.

+ Assist daily work for operational needs by optimizing the maintenance members

+ Assist purchaser in locating reliable, qualified vendors for plant equipment.


**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:**


+ Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.

+ Minimum 5 years or equivalent experience in chemical plant/or Manufacturing processes.

+ 3-5 years Maintenance Management Experience

+ Knowledge of and experience working with Allen Bradley PLC


**Preferred Education/Professional Experiences:**


+ Knowledge with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (including automation control, AC and DC drives, mechanical drives and systems, PLCs, sensors, and motor controls) and facilities systems.

+ Production/manufacturing experience in manufacturing, pulp & papermaking is preferred.
