US Pharmaceutical is currently looking to hire a skilled mechanical and electrical worker. You will be doing maintenance and repairs of light to medium duty packaging, processing and building equipment such as conveyors, elevators, blowers, sifters, burners, grinders, conventional & high speed packaging machines, tablet compression and encapsulation equipment, vacuum & hydraulic pumps, forklifts and air compressors. .

**E** **ssential Job Functions:**

+ Performs typical building maintenance repairs through assigned work orders.

+ Requisitions shop supplies and equipment such as replacement parts, hardware, lubricants, tools, testing instruments and gauges and preventative work order assignments.

+ Troubleshoots and repairs motor control centers, electro-mechanical drives and sub-electrical panels utilizing volt and amp meters.

+ Uses micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and other precision instruments to determine working clearances on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components.

+ Troubleshooting and performance testing of production machinery.

+ Troubleshooting, adjusting, and replacing AC and DC electrical equipment such as batteries, control stations, fuses, motor starters, relays, switches, and timers.

+ Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or replacing mechanical components such as motors, reducers, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and transfer plates.

+ Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or replacing pneumatic equipment such as diverters, air compressors, lubricators, hoses, and coils.

+ Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing and/or replacing hydraulic equipment such as hoses, fittings, cylinders, and pumps.

+ Handle crisis management of unscheduled asset failures that have a direct impact on production.

+ Respond to emergency calls including snow removal, utility failures, and disaster response.

+ Undertake and complete projects and initiatives as defined and assigned by the upper Management

+ Serve as the contractor liaison and the liaison between the operations and maintenance groups for both the day-today and down-day planning.

+ Operates and/or repairs Mechanical Systems such as Boilers, HVAC/R, Compressed Air Systems, Pneumatics, Pumps, and Electrical.

+ Ensures full compliance with Company policies, procedures, GMPs, Ethical Business Practice, and SOPs at all times.

+ Maintain proper gowning and hygiene to ensure integrity of the product as per company policies.

+ Able to work extended hours, sometimes without notice, and occasional weekend overtime.

+ Maintains regular and punctual attendance.

+ Must be able to provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

+ Participate in regulatory inspections from various organization such as OSHA, Environmental Protection, and Fire Department.

+ Other duties as assigned

**Requirements** :

+ High school graduate or GED equivalent, Technical or vocational training is a plus.

+ 3+ years in maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

+ 2+ Years work experience in a regulated industry such as nutritionals, vitamins, food manufacturing is preferred.

+ License or certifications in electronics, pneumatics and/or hydraulics preferred.

+ Forklift /scissor lift drivers certification

+ HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, pneumatic, boilers, compressed air systems, pumps, hydraulic and Mechanical systems as required. PLC is a plus.

+ General PC proficiency and work order systems etc.

+ Able to follow written instructions precisely and perform basic math calculations as required.

+ Understands and is knowledgeable of cGMP, OSHA standards etc.

+ Able to read from schematics and blueprints.

+ Able to lift 50-75 pounds
