Description Facilities / Operations Manager - Washington D.C.

6 month contract with potential to hire on permanetly.

Provides facilities management for all staff (350 employees) located in the D.C. location. Responsible for managing and coordinating the daily activities performed by building management and other third party service providers including repairs, access system administration, D.C. office facilities maintenance requests, furniture reconfigure , procurement and repairs and move support in Service Now system interface.

Required Basic Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of practical experience in a Commercial facility or property management.
• Minimum of two years budget experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, (or other database application).

Preferred Basic Qualifications:

• Service Now or similar workflow management software tool experience required.
• Archibus and AutoCAD or related CAFM experience preferred.
• CFM (IFMA designation of Professional Facilities Manager) or FMA (BOMI equivalent of Professional Facilities Manager).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management, Construction Management or Facilities Management.
• Experience in Facilities Management, construction project management or other related industry.
• Ability to perform independent of direct supervision.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Attention to detail is required.
• Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency is required.
• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Demonstrated written and verbal skills. Ability to professionally interact with all staff levels including Senior Leadership.
• Ability to interact effectively with third-party service providers.
