Our client, an American publicly traded biopharmaceutical company, is currently seeking a Finance Manager for a 6 month temporary position with the opportunity for an extension. The position is located in North Chicago, IL.

**The hours and pay for this position are as follows:**

+ The hours will be 9am to 5pm Monday Friday

+ The pay rate for this position is up to $43.04 per hour W2

**Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):**

+ Manages consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual Plan, Update, LRP and LBEs as required, including P&L, headcount, balance sheet and capital. Leads submission of relevant data into planning systems as required by Corporate FP&A and/or GMCO Finance. Partners with finance and forecasting to ensure timely and accurate submission of all financial process deliverables.

+ Provides relevant variance analysis for each planning cycle and develops meaningful management reporting schedules and ensures accuracy and predictability of results and key metrics.

+ Supports monthly close process to ensure complete, accurate and timely monthly actual results, including variance analysis and commentary for P&L, headcount and balance sheet. Understands monthly results and both prepares and reviews meaningful monthly management reporting packages with businesses.

+ Collaborates and provides routine business support to enable informed decision-making.

+ Supports key projects and initiatives (e.g. planning system standardization, management reporting and optimization) and drives process improvements. Supports ad hoc analysis as required.

Requires a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems and a minimum of 5+ years of financial planning & analysis, financial consolidation and/or related experience. CPA or MBA is a plus. Must have strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be a self-starter with ability to operate independently, drive processes, identify and implement process improvements, establish and adjust priorities to achieve objectives and operate with speed and agility. Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written), with all levels of management and including the ability to listen well and to influence others that do not report directly. Must be proficient with Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP, TM1, and ASPIRE a plus. Must be able to quickly learn and efficiently use financial systems.
