Our client, a non-profit health insurance company, is currently seeking a Financial Analyst Manager for a 4 week contract position. The position is remote based near or around Oakland, CA.

**The hours for this position are as follows:**




+ Monday to Friday 40 hours a week Flexible hours

+ Pay Rate is up to $44.65 per hour W2



**Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):**




+ To perform financial solvency reviews for compliance

+ Performs budget analysis and financial research work.

+ Prepares analyses of subjects such as rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investment and financial expense performance, capitation, risk pools and comparisons.

+ Compiles or prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed.

+ Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends. Utilizes computer in the creation, display and reproduction of charts, graphs and econometric models relative to the operations of the organization.

+ Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives.

+ Provides guidance to subordinates.

+ Responsible for team, department or functional area results in terms of planning, cost and methods.

+ Develops and implements annual budget.

+ Ensures work flow procedures and guidelines are clearly documented and communicated.

+ Establishes and recommends changes to policies which effect subordinate organization(s).

+ May lead special projects/committees/task forces.

+ Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, outside customers, and functional peer groups at management levels.

+ Directs and controls the activities of one or more smaller/less complex department(s) or functional area(s) through subordinate supervisors including the coordination of the activities in terms of costs, methods and employees.

+ Has full management responsibility for staff (i.e. salary actions, promotions, performance reviews, and disciplinary matters) in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

+ Monitors on-going performance and communicates expectations and results.

+ Provides developmental and training opportunities for team members.

+ Identifies staffing needs and objectives.

+ CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred
