**Finished Goods Planner - Nutraceutical, Anaheim, CA**

**Job Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Creat master production schedule

+ Work with plant manager to support operations while meeting safety and quality standards.

+ Partnered with account managers and customer service reps weekly to understand sales positions.

+ Worked rigorously with 5 buyers and the production team to escalate material shortages and production delays. Managed backlogs and communicated revisions to all levels of the plant.

+ Worked cross functionally with multiple departments (production, quality, logistics) to ship as many orders as possible for month end

+ Planning and preparing daily production schedules for operations in the most efficient manner to ensure on time delivery of customer orders.

+ Planning and scheduling work flow according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times.

+ Uses MRP / ERP Software, and Scheduling Software, to track and manage all activities required for scheduling production and managing inventories for fulfillment of customer sales orders and internal needs.

+ Set up and manage Production Schedule Routing in the MRP / ERP Program or suitable Scheduling System Module.

+ Responsible and accountable for the accuracy of all finished goods inventory.

+ Responsible and accountable for the accuracy of all raw materials.

+ Supervises the Cycle Counter position and completes inventory corrections and scheduling adjustments to accommodate the needs to fulfill customer orders.

+ Investigates inventory discrepancies and recommends corrective action to prevent future errors.

+ Manages tracking of rework material and responsible to assure rework is scheduled appropriately.

+ Responsible and accountable for the accuracy of labels and maintaining document control.

+ Ensures proper training of all employees using the computer system to generate labels.

+ Works with the Purchasing Department personnel to review and analyze raw material requirements to support customer shipping order request dates and schedules.

+ Generates transfer requests for the Plant to maintain proper stock levels required to fulfill production material and sales order shipping needs.

+ Supervises the Production Managers by generating batch tickets in Catalyst Manufacturing

+ Supervises the Production Managers in all assigned activities.

+ Ensures that batch sheets are completed on time for production.

+ Manages the scheduling and inventory minimum and maximum levels of pre-blends and WIP for in-house requirements.

+ Works closely with the Customer Service Department to coordinate consignment material deliveries and adjusts scheduling to accommodate.

**Job Requirements:**

+ College Degree, Prefers Bachelor's degree in Science (BS) but open to BA with experience in nutraceutical, food, pharma industry, or any GMP environment

+ 2-3 years experience with inventory in a GMP environment

+ Works closely with QA, QC and production in getting the right raw material through the proper channels.

+ Strong communication skills, able to communicate clearly and effectively with vendors and internally.
