**Job Description**


Kelly Services is seeking a 1st and 2nd shift Forklift Operators for a company in Morrisville, PA.


This is a Temp-Hire Opportunity!!!


1st shift Hours: 5 AM- 1:30 PM

2nd shift Hours: 3 PM - 11:30 PM


1st shift Pay: $15/hr.

2nd shift Pay: $16/hr.


Duration: Temp-Perm

Location: Morrisville, PA


Qualified candidates must have previous Forklift Experience!


The Operations Floater is responsible for a wide variety of assignments in multiple departments of the Plant and warehouse; (Shipping, Filling, Blending, QA and Inventory). The floater will rotate, as needed, to help with departments that are in the most need of assistance. Those in this position should expect a variety of duties and those duties may switch around at a moment-s notice. Ability to be flexible with scheduled hours is important.


JOB SUMMARY/JOB DUTIES:

- Learn and have a clear understanding of the company Packaging operations.

- Comply with company safety, health and environmental requirements as per the Employee Handbook plus any, or all issued policies, procedures, and notices.

- Perform all work in a safe and satisfactory manner as instructed by the Lead Operator or more senior staff.

- Promptly report any accidents, incidents or potential hazards to the Lead or more senior staff.

- Maintain a clean working environment within the Plant premises.

- Responsible for the cleanness of the warehouse, and outside areas daily.

- Present a positive and attentive image for the company.

- Cooperate with and be courteous to other employees.

- Report immediately to the Lead Operator or more senior staff any problems with product quality or equipment that may affect the quality or productivity of the company-s operations.

- Interacts with other employees in a polite, courteous and productive manner.

- Responsible for adhering to established Life Saving Rules.

- Responsible for maintaining a neat, clean and orderly work area.

- Responsible for observing all Good Manufacturing Practices and safety practices ensuring all machine guards and other safety equipment or devices are in place and in good working order before and during operation.

- Insure all personal protection equipment is monitored and used at all times

- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.

- The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit.

- Any other duties of a similar or lesser nature as required.


QUALIFICATIONS:

- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Completion of a complete Training package provide by the Production Manager

- Complete understand of all industrial safety regulations

- Sound communications capabilities

- Punctual, meticulous and reliable


WORK ENVIORNMENT:

- Work weeks are 5 days, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, starting at (7:30 AM).

- The floater is entitled to a half hour lunch period daily.

- The floater is frequently exposed to noise and dusty conditions.

- The floater is frequently assigned to changing priorities

- The floater may be required to work hours outside of the normally scheduled work day.
