As a Quality Engineer you will need experience in Quality Engineering, holder of an Airframe and Power plant License and Experience FAA part 145 repair station quality systems

This role can become permanent.

**Job Title** : Quality Engineer

**Work Location** : Fort Worth, TX

**Projected Duration** : 04/23/2018- 04/22/2019, Depending on workload and performance

**Shift** : 8 hour days / 5 days a week

**Pay Rate** : $30 to $42 an hour, Dependent on Experience

**Responsibilities**

· Possess the ability to manage all quality functions on a program by program basis.

· Effectively interpret and flow down customer quality requirements to engineering, manufacturing and inspection is required

· Review and approval of drawings, work instructions, requisitions, procedures and test plans.

· Generation of program quality plans when required must be prepared.

· Institute lean principles to streamline the inspection function

· Participate in the material review board committee

· Contract review and flow down of requirements

· Manage and coordinate QA activities for specific customers

· Ability to work across all functional organizations

· Track and maintain metrics for performance

· May require limited travel

· Must be able to absorb responsibilities out of primary function

**Qualifications**

· BS in engineering discipline plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience. (4 years of additional experience may be considered in place of education.)

· Must hold a valid Airframe and Power-Plant Certificate

· Must possess strong mechanical comprehension capability and background in geometric dimensioning

· Mechanical, electrical or electromechanical engineering drawing interpretation and review

· Ability to interpret project requirements and workmanship procedures and impose requirements

· Review work instructions against engineering drawings and procedures

· Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Office (must have strong Excel skills)

· Comfortable working in various office, manufacturing, lab and shop environments

· Experience with Government standard 8210.1
