Description Kelly Services, Inc. is happy to exclusively present a contract opportunity for a **Functional Data Assistant** at Dow Chemical in **Midland, MI** .

+ Do you have minimum 2-3 years of relevant corporate experience?
+ Experience with Microsoft Excel workbooks, including Pivot Tables needed.
+ Have Technical/IT experience or Sharepoint experience ? (A plus!)
+ This long term contract position is located onsite in Midland, MI USA at Dow Chemical Company.
+ M-F 8am-5pm
**_Functional Data Assistant – Information and Asset Divestiture_**

Under the direction of the Functional Data Owner of Environmental Health and Safety Sustainability (EHS-S) Department, you will assist in carving out and protecting Dow’s intellectual property as Dew Chemical merges with DuPont and is split into three separate entities.

This will include (but not be limited to):

+ Helping the functions and work streams within EHS-S sort through and separate out assets as well as organize and secure Dow’s intellectual property

+ These assets are stored in various locations including:

+ File shares, Websites, SharePoint

+ Laptops/workstations, Security groups, functional accounts, user IDs, distribution lists

+ Assisting the IT Systems leader for TERC (Toxicology and Environmental Research and Consulting) with carving out electronic data stored in various other ‘systems’ (such as metatdata from databases, electronic file repositories, etc.)
Candidate must be highly motivated and reliable, with outstanding follow-through skills as well as excellent communication, teamwork, organization and time-management skills.

**Critical skills include:**

+ Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
+ Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbally) with various levels of personnel
+ Flexible and able to prioritize workload to use time productively and meet changing deadlines
+ Ability to understand and help drive work processes provided by group leading this effort
Strong technical and organizational skills

+ Attention to detail and quality
+ Ability to leverage Excel and other Microsoft products to create tools to track and organize progress

+ 2+ year of work experience
+ High level of competency with the creation and use of Microsoft Excel workbooks, including Pivot Tables – Office 2013 or above
+ Proven ability to work in professional team environment

+ SharePoint, Access experience
+ Technical/IT experience
+ Prior experience within Dow
