We are currently seeking a Genomics Program Analyst to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in Rockville, MD **.**

**TASKS.** The contractor shall:
(1) Work with Office of Genomics and Advanced Technology (OGAT) on Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases' (DMID) Genomics Initiatives and other National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) initiatives to collect, analyze, and synthesize scientific information related to genomics, proteomics and bioinformatics and global health.
(2) Work with the Office of Genomics and Advanced Technologies for project management focused on NIAID/DMID Omics programs and other NIAID and NIH omics programs that use genomics, bioinformatics and emerging technologies to understand infectious diseases and other related immune mediated diseases and develop new vaccine, drugs and diagnostics for global health.
(3) Provide project management and manage projects with NIAID Project Officers. Organize and coordinate data management and data sharing, organizing the Steering Committee meetings, assisting in organizing annual meeting and visits to performance sites.
(4) Interact with NIAID staff and other NIH staff to provide expertise and advice in the area of genomics bioinformatics and other omics and technologies including excel spreadsheets, meeting organization, staffing telephone conference calls; generate minutes and agendas and prepare PowerPoint presentations.
(5) Provide assistance on a variety of special, one-time projects that require immediate action including the coordination of workshops and reporting of their outcomes.
(6) Attend meetings and telephone conference calls with NIAID and NIH program and provide assistance in organizing meetings and calls and action items and summaries.

**REQUIREMENTS.** The contractor must have:
(1) Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
(2) Two (2) years of experience in biology or a related field.
(3) Demonstrates experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
(4) Knowledge of broad range of biomedical and technology areas including biology, molecular genomics and other omics technologies.
(5) Ability to analyze and interpret scientific documents.
(6) Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
