Our client a state in the Midwestern and Great Lakes regions of North America, is currently seeking a Project Administrator for a 3 month contract position with extensions possible. The position is located in Indianapolis, IN.

**The hours and pay for this position are as follows:**




+ This hours will be 8am to 5:00pm Monday Friday

+ The pay rate for this position is up to $26.01 per hour W2



**Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):**




+ Establish and manage the timeline and necessary documents for creation and submission of the grant proposal, approval of the grant project through tool, creation of PeopleSoft projects and funding sources, and development of contracts and subgrants prior to the beginning of the Federal budget period.

+ Regularly review Federal grants website and resources to seek out new grant opportunities to increase Federal revenue for ISDH programs.

+ Assist program clients with creation of grant proposal documents including but not limited to SF424, grant narrative, and grant budget.

+ Assist program clients with creation of Federal Grant Summary for submission to and approval by the Office of State Based Initiatives in OMB.

+ Assist program clients with completing and submitting federal and ISDH budget templates.

+ Collect and organize supporting documentation for grant proposals including but not limited to letters of support, memoranda of understanding, job description of staff positions, resumes of existing personnel, and other documents are required by Federal and State funders.

+ Shepherd program clients through approval of grant proposal by ISDH leadership and OMB.

+ Submit grant proposal as prescribed by Federal funder.

+ Complete Project Setup Sheet to facilitate creation of PeopleSoft Financials project and estimated funding source in coordination with ISDH accounting staff.

+ Develop Request for Contract (RFC) documents for subgrants and contracts, including quality review of Scope of Work and Budget for these agreements.

+ Create Requisition and Strategic Sourcing Event in PeopleSoft Financials to develop the framework on which an agreement can be developed in the PeopleSoft Supplier Contract Module.

+ Receive and record Notice of Award (NOA) documents as sent by the Federal funder.

+ Revise Project Setup Sheet to reflect confirmed funding as prescribed by the NOA.

+ Review reporting guidelines and establish reporting deadlines with relevant program and fiscal staff.

+ Manage calendar of existing grant development activities: renewals, continuations, etc.

+ Provide technical assistance on grant reporting to program client to ensure reporting compliance.

+ Attend quarterly financial meetings with program and finance staff to assess condition of financial expenditures within the grant budget period.

+ Identify the potential for unspent funds within the grant budget period. Coordinate with program client to request carryover of these funds as directed by the Federal funder.

+ Prepare for close-out of the grant budget period and advise ISDH accounting staff as to handling of unspent funds.

+ Collaborates with Director of Grants on large-scale projects requiring special attention.

+ Assists on special projects and initiatives as determined by the Director of Grants.

+ This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.



Requires an associate degree with experience in budget development, project planning, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate and analyze written materials. Experience with grants or fund raising is a bonus, but not required.
