We are currently seeking an EXPERIENCED Grants Program Analyst to work at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

TASKS/SERVICES. The contractor shall:




+ Use highly specialized expertise to conduct data runs for supplement submissions for the various portals, and data collection and reports on all submissions, from receipt, triage, evaluation and award process

+ Deeply track all COVID NOSIs and ALL resulting COVID awards in order to compile the data for the mandatory Thursday reports (prospective) and the Friday reports (awarded).

+ Manage external AND internal grant-related questions and responses.

+ Prepare summary information for internal dissemination to ensure the level of OGM-wide standardization needed to manage NCATS risks associated with non-compliance.

+ Coordinate and schedule meetings for COVID related meetings (as required); provide program support and technical expertise.

+ Schedule, organize, and coordinate logistics for meetings; arrange room and audiovisual reservations (or through use of virtual platforms, ZOOM, Webex etc.); coordinate with participants; prepare announcements, agendas, and materials for presentation.

+ Take, summarize, and distribute minutes from meetings; track action items; maintain spreadsheets of relevant information.

+ Perform grant searches; track and update award status in electronic databases; track FOA status when FOAs are under development

+ Develop, update, and maintain information databases.

+ Assist with project management: track progress toward project milestones, including importance of each task and dependencies between tasks; communicate progress and expectations to the project team and stakeholders for both scientific research aspects of the project as well as software release management.

+ Locate scientific, program and related information on the internet, and other means, including literature, web and database searches; conduct searches for material for specific programmatic needs; prepare literature reviews and summaries.

+ Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, charts and graphs to communicate information.

+ Work with NCATS Office of Communication to ensure information on COVID activities is up to date on the website and make sure that information is disseminated.

+ Oversee planning and organization of quarterly face-to-face PI meetings.

+ Gather information for documentation of project software.





REQUIREMENTS. The contractor must have:




+ Masters degree. Two (2) years of specialized experience plus a Bachelors degree is equivalent to a Masters degree.

+ Minimum of two (2) years of experience in health or management sciences or other related field.

+ Knowledge of federal grants.

+ Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Teams, Project, Visio, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

+ Strong communications skills, both oral and written.

+ Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
