Description Our client, a medical device company, is currently seeking a Graphic Designer for a **one year contract** position. The position is located in **Northridge, CA.**

**The hours for this position are as follows:**


+ Hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm M-F
**Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):**


+ Plan, design and implement the creativity, graphic design, and web design for all creative deliverables
+ Conceives, designs, lays out, and coordinates editorial illustrations and creative artwork
+ Develops interpretive themes that convey ideas and information
+ Creates graphic presentations that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions
+ Works closely with internal company contacts to understand requirements and create cost efficient graphic designs through available mediums. May provide computer graphic services for web artwork.
+ May also have responsibility or input on reproduction and printing processes through inhouse resources or outside vendors
+ Ability to execute on company brand standards, corporate branding experience
+ Strong attention to detail and a collaborative style
+ Ability to multitask and manage time to ensure projects meet deadlines using a project management system
+ Experience working in a fast-paced environment
+ Promote continual creative improvement and a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability by contributing or executing ideas that are forward thinking and congruent with the department and company
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, 2-3 years of experience. Looking for a high degree of comfort with all Microsoft programs including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook. Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and other related software tools a plus.
