Job Description

**The Role**

The Production Designer is responsible for incorporating design, editorial, proofreading, compliance changes into print and digital, enterprise-wide marketing materials. The Production Design will partner with marketing and creative services teams to ensure the timely execution of these materials. Works within established branding guidelines and design standards in order to meet business objectives and results

**Responsibilities**

· Provides high quality execution of collateral across media types for assigned product teams and enterprise teams throughout the course of the year. Work with graphic design staff and and/or Design Director to ensure materials are within budget and in compliance with design/branding guidelines.

· Focus on developing creative solutions to issues and challenges.

· Completes projects as directed by senior designers and/or design directors ensuring that they meet or exceed established standards in terms of quality, timeliness and accuracy.

· Works with assigned senior designer and/or design directors to determine project priorities and overall workloads well as availability of to assist other teams as needed.

· Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of files on “Assets” (support graphics) server as well as other servers and other equipment as directed.

· Establishes familiarity with all product lines in order to facilitate working across product teams and supporting graphic design staff.

· Follows established work processes and adhere to established brand and LFG standards.

Relationship Management

· Collaborates with team of people, including marketing directors and managers, writers, proofreaders, print managers, fulfillment, compliance personnel, stakeholders to ensure the smooth and timely creation of material.

**Education**

ï?¬ BA in Graphic Arts or 2 – 4 years of comparable work experience required

**Experience**

· Two to four years of Graphic Design experience, preferably in a design firm or agency.

· Designing within established brand guidelines.

· Fluent in Macintosh OS X with PC familiarity.

· Prior industry experience in financial services preferred, although not mandatory.

· Pre-press and releasing files to print production.

· Using Adobe InDesign in the creation of style sheets and layout of multi-page collateral.

· Using Photoshop to inspect and ensure image quality for pre-press.

· Using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Graph in the development of presentations.

· Producing publications from templates with style sheets.
