Kelly Engineering is currently looking to hire a **Graphic Quality Control Specialist** to work for one of our top medical device/pharma clients on-site in Rochester, NY. (long term contract position)



**PURPOSE OF JOB:**



Graphic quality control leader for labeling/packaging graphic projects within the Labeling Graphics group. Involves artwork troubleshooting proofreading, and management of priorities.



**RESPONSIBILITIES:**




+ Work independently to review artwork for overall compliance to established artwork standards.

+ Review redlined changes against draft artwork for comparison, checking placement of text and graphics, and confirming print and color separations are correct.

+ Ensure technical Artwork Development Standards are met for updated artwork.

+ Confirm requirements stated on the Artwork Checklist are met for updated artwork.

+ As part of Artwork Checklist, ensure changes redlined are correctly made to the artwork.

+ Supply general proofreading feedback, utilizing proofreading tools available.

+ Support and interaction for all projects impacting art, labeling and packaging.

+ Participate, and contribute to, continuous improvement projects.

+ Proactively identify areas of improvement.

+ Assist with graphic artwork projects, as needed.



**SCOPE OF POSITION:** US Distributed Labeling / Packaging Artwork and Related Documentation



**KEY RELATIONSHIPS:** Internal business functions related to the development and execution of regulated labeling/packaging artwork.



**QUALIFICATIONS-TRAINING:**




+ BA in Graphic Design, BS in Packaging Design, BS in New Media or Printing or equivalent experience.

+ Must have in-depth, working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.

+ Print knowledge and experience required.

+ Understanding of GMP requirements working in a regulated environment a plus.



**EXPERIENCE:**



Minimum 3-5 years graphic/labeling development experience with extensive digital prepress preparation or packaging production art background required.
