6 Months Contract to Hire --63042





Summary/Objective



Installs, configures, and troubleshoots. Supports workstations, peripheral systems. Plans, installs, integrates and maintains these systems by performing the following duties:



Must have Windows 7 & 10 knowledge, Server 2003 administration and user support skills. Strong scripting skills, email administration (sendmail, exchange), Web server administration (Apache, MySQL, PHP), active directory, printer administration, security administration.





Coordinates installation of hardware and software by others.



Provides support to and trains users.



Coordinates third-party maintenance for hardware, software.



Prepares and maintains documentation of workstations configurations.



Exhibit and practice professional and courteous behavior while interacting with both internal and external customers.



Interact within a cooperative environment through beneficial behavior, commitment to common goals, contribution to problem solving, communication of ideas and suggestions, and encouragement to other employees and departments.



Accountable for the security of FSI materials, projects and business information regarding the methods and techniques used in the production and usage of FSI products.



Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.



Able to adhere to a work schedule including prompt and regular attendance.







EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: (Minimum Requirements)





Admin I - Associates Degree in Computer related field or 4 years IT experience in user/hardware support and training, with at least 2 years supporting MS Windows server and MS Exchange or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks and inquiries. Customer service skills a must.





Admin II Bachelors Degree in Computer related field or 6 years IT experience in user/hardware support and training, with at least 3 years supporting MS Windows Server and MS Exchange or equivalent combination of education and experience.





Computer Skills



To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of UNIX, Windows, Linux, Solaris, NFS, Samba and MySQL software.





Language Skills Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications; Able to read, analyze, and interpret general documents, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; Able to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals; Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.





Other Qualifications

Preferred:



Imaging understanding/capabilities.



DAMEWARE usage (would be very helpful if they knew this).



VPN knowledge corporate supports our vpn but it would be good for them to be somewhat familiar with vpn.



WIFI knowledge sometimes folks have issues with their wife not working on their laptops



Installing video cards, network cards, additional RAM into pcs and laptops.



And the normal software installs and printer issues we have.
