Kelly Services is looking for a _part time_ (20-25/hours weekly) Helpdesk Technician for one of our top clients in Bowling Green, KY.


This is a contract opportunity (which ideally will turn into a full time permanent position)


Compensation: $18/hr


Part time (20-25/hrs weekly) Flexible on schedule but will likely need to work 1-2 Saturdays a month for a few hours


This is 100% onsite


**POSITION SUMMARY:**


The Help Desk Technician is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and operation of the Credit Unions workstations and peripheral devices. The primary purpose of this position is to provide world class support to associates equipment in a repair or break-fix manner. In support of the other Information Technology team members, the Help Desk Technician may be asked to help in setup and configuration of some software and services. Demonstrates teamwork through positive interaction and cooperation with fellow associates. Supports and promotes the Credit Unions Vision, Mission, Culture and Core Values.


**Primary Responsibilities**


Works the Credit Union help desk software maintaining the established service level agreements. Appropriately prioritizes help desk tickets.


Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory experience preferred


Configures and/or rebuilds in-house workstations according to specifications. Relocates cabling and equipment.


Responds to request for assistance in person, by phone, chat, or email; always logging and prioritizing these requests in the help desk system.


Creates, applies, and updates critical system images for cloning.


Installs operating system and software updates on Credit Union workstations, using an automated patch management system.


May be asked to assist with installation of server updates.


Manages anti-virus software updates and performs systems scans as directed.


Develops and maintains the database of all CU workstation hardware and software.


Maintains change management log.


Assists with basic in-house telephone system troubleshooting, relocating, and maintenance.


May be required to research complex operating problems.


Create and maintain documentation of best practices for departmental procedures.


Runs various reports as necessary.


Performs such other duties as may be required from time to time for the overall management and operation of the Credit Union.


**Educational/Experience Requirements:**


Education equivalent to two years of college or technical school and an Associate degree.


Three years of similar or related experience.


Experience and professional certification may be substituted for degree requirement
