**Job Description**


-Assist Sr. National Director with ITQL Grant Management of special projects:

-Manage ITQL grant portal for timely submission of deliverables, quarterly reports and monthly finances - public health grant management

-Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders

-Ensure resource availability and allocation

-Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

-Conducting outreach to current and new health care referral partners

-Providing training / in-services to new and potential referral partners

-Building sustainable initiatives - Corporate worksite - fee for service model, Medicaid reimbursement, Health Insurance models, etc.

-Strategically identify and address new Quitline needs and areas of focus. Work collaboratively with funder to determine Quitline outreach strategies.

-Implement protocols for dealing with special groups or projects.

-Implement, coordinate, and monitor deliverables.

-Complete reports as assigned.

-Staff committees and work groups as assigned.


**Requirements**


-Bachelor's degree in public health or a related field. Master's Degree in public health preferred. 3-5 years of experience in public health or related field with grant management experience.

-Experience in coalition building and community health development.

-Strong project management skills with the ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research, develop, and execute specific program deliverables.

-Strategic in developing/maintaining relationships with medical professionals, public health community, and members of the public.

-Certification as an addiction counselor and/or experience in counseling, community health education or social work is preferred. Previous experience with tobacco cessation or health

behavior change, preferred.

-Ability to relate to persons with diverse educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.

-Ability to handle a -call center- environments; manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.

-Critical skills required including analytical decision making, customer resource knowledge, organizing and coordinating, position-specific expertise, interpersonal understanding,

teamwork/internal partnership, individual accountability, initiative, versatility and self-management.

-Excellent written, computer, telephone and interpersonal skills

-Excellent organizational skills

-Must be independent and persistent

-Must display a professional demeanor

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

-Knowledge of the health and wellness industry worksite wellness is highly preferred.

-Hold valid driver's license and be able/willing to attend events as requested. (Travel/mileage reimbursed according to ALA policy).

-Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends, as needed.

-Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs. (event supplies).

-Maintains a smoke-free work place, all employees must abstain from tobacco use in any form.
