Hiring for Permanent inside Sales Representative at a Top Medical Laboratory Equipment organization in Norwood!

Pay rate based on experience plus commission!!

Summary:

Develops contacts for new and existing company products by telephone, email, chat and social media to generate sales or to close sales in coordination with the Regional Sales Managers. Maintains leads from incoming calls, tradeshows, AI website and following up on these inquiries to ascertain the quality of each lead for the Regional Managers. Responsible for customer information and generating opportunities for the sales pipeline.

Essential Functions:

- Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities via the telephone. Qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.

- Follow up on leads from trade shows, internet, and mailings, print advertising, and initiate literature requests.

- Initiate outbound calling plans to include any one of the following: new product releases, obsolete product notification, product enhancements, promotional plans or products.

- Coordinate calling plans and calls with the Regional Sales Managers.

- Maintain routine contact with customer and service team.

- Update and manage the Sales Logix database with all leads.

- Perform administrative functions such as record keeping, reporting, customer database maintenance, correspondence, and communications.

- Routinely conveys applications, concepts and benefits of products sold over the phone.

- Maintain product knowledge, competitive awareness and a customer driven focus.

- Contribute to a professional sales atmosphere through positive interaction with sales staff, internal departments and customers.

Experience Requirements:

- One to two years relevant work experience.

- Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.

- Proficient in MS Office Suite.

- Working knowledge of Sales Logix or other similar sales specific program a plus.

- Working knowledge of Eipicor9 or other similar manufacturing/accounting database a plus.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education Requirements:

- BS degree in Life Sciences or Business or equivalent combination of education and experience
