Overview

The HR Admin Assistant provides administrative support to all areas of Human Resources including recruiting, benefits, compensation, reporting, training, compliance, annual performance management and special projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist in all recruiting functions. Set up initial phone screenings, on site interviews with candidates and hiring managers. Review resumes in Taleo and filter resumes for hiring managers based on job descriptions. Post open positions on Taleo.

- Managing the Pre-Employment Background Check through ADP Screening Services, enter request information, monitor results, review results and maintain confidential testing records.

- Create new employee profiles in CONCUR/BCD.

- Assist in the planning, set-up and communication of employee programs.

- Assist with all benefits programs, including open enrollments, new employee enrollments, changes in enrollment and billing.

- Assist with developing department goals, objectives, and systems.

- Provide administrative support for annual performance management and merit pay programs.

- Assist with paperwork for Disability, Worker-s Compensation, FMLA.

- Maintain records, reports, and logs to maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

- Assist with new employee onboarding, paperwork and files.

- Assist with maintaining I-9 forms as per The Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA).

- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Associates degree desired.

- 3+ years of Human Resources experience

- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Highest degree of discretion and confidentiality

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a constantly changing environment

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
