**Job Description**


Kelly Services is seeking an HR Administrator / Office Manager for a position in downtown Columbus!

Shift: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm

Pay Rate: $20-22/hr

This role reports to Director of Operations and HR Head.

HR Administrator Responsibilities Include:

- Act as the first port of call to employees and external partners for all HR related queries.

- Coordinate the majority of employee documentation, including contracts, recruitment paperwork, startup packs, and termination packs.

- Maintain and update employee records as required.

- Manage employee on-boarding including forms, background checks, citizenship verification, company orientation, facilities, and equipment.

- Manage various HR documents such as policy manuals, orientation decks, general office communications, company event calendars, etc.

- Understand employment policies and laws in play for the business and ensure employees conforms to these rules.

- Reviewing and renewing company policies and monitoring legal compliance.

- Communicating with external HR and benefit administration and employee fiduciary partners.

- Coordinate annual open enrollment communications, forms, and Q&A.

- Coordinate annual employee evaluation and compensation review.

- Preparing and amending where necessary relevant HR documents, i.e. employment contracts and recruitment guides.

- Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries

Office Coordinator Responsibilities Include:

- Open up the office by 8:00 AM Monday thru Thursday.

- Manage reception desk to greet and direct visitors and to receive deliveries.

- Receive and direct general phone calls.

- Manage light mail desk.

- Assist in employee, client, and partner communications.

- Monitor, order, receive, and organize office supplies. It is a small office so volume is light.

- Manage availability of facilities such as conference rooms, office hoteling, etc.

- Communicate/coordinate any office facilities issues with landlord.

- Assist in hard-copy production of proposals and contracts where required.

- Assisting in light travel arrangements for office management and consultants.

- Coordinate charitable and social events as requested.

- Assist in weekly meeting management.

- Light business tracking, reporting, and data analysis.

Skills, Experience, and Competencies

- Requires High School Diploma and minimum of Associates Degree or Trade Certificate in associated business or industry domain.

- Requires 1 year experience as an HR administrator or HR administrator-s assistant

- 2 years previous administrative experience is essential, but not necessarily within the HR sector.

- Well organized and able to prioritize work activities.

- Professional confident and convivial presence and demeanor.

- Strong English verbal and writing skills.
