**HR Administrative Assistant Job Description:**

The HR Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating HR related duties and will work closely with multiple departments and department managers in project coordination efforts. The ideal applicant will have either some HR experience or have a completed degree with an emphasis in Human Resources Management. Individuals who have previously worked as an HR Clerk or Human Resources Generalist are encouraged to apply. Strong computer, organizational and interpersonal skills are required.

The HR Administrative Assistant will provide support to the HR Manager. Manage department calendar, coordinate organization meetings, travel arrangements, training, and cross training efforts and similar. Some travel arrangement planning. Assist with reviewing and editing department management job postings, organizing recruiting efforts, document management, reporting through Excel, troubleshoot payroll, etc. Document disciplinary forms, termination, and new hire offer letters. Clerical, data entry and additional administrative tasks as assigned.

Location: Bradenton, FL

Shift: Monday Friday 8am 5pm

Duration: 3+ months

**Core Responsibilities:**

+ Administers policies and procedures and provide HR support in the areas of training and professional development, HR compliance, employee engagement, recruitment, and other functional areas within the Human Resources department with guidance from the Director of Human Resources

+ Support Posting and closing positions with hiring managers

+ Assist new hires with onboarding process

+ Assist with employee relations issues and concerns. Investigate matters and provide recommendations for resolution.

+ Partner with the Director of HR to effectively manage employee related workplace behavioral issues

+ Serve as a witness to any disciplinary actions, suspensions and/or terminations, as needed.

+ Assist managers with employee related questions and directs them to repository of information and/or self-service

+ Support and assist managers in compensation related matters (salary adjustments, job offers, leveling)

+ Communicate and assist with People related processes (Performance Management, Engagement, Leadership Development, etc)

+ Assist the Director of HR and HR Manager with other HR related duties and projects as necessary

**Education / Experience**

+ Associates or Higher Degree

+ 2 Year Administrative Assistant Experience

+ Strong investigative skills, experience resolving complex employee relations matters and the ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of HR issues and communications

+ Knowledge and understanding of state and federal employment laws, general HR policies, practices, and procedures, including legal employment-related requirements

+ Excellent problem-solving ability by skillfully analyzing information and developing solutions

+ Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

+ Display professionalism by using tactful, calm manner even in stressful situations

+ Follow through on all requests in a timely and efficient manner

+ Strong organizational skills

+ Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision

+ Strong computer proficiency with MS Office, Workday, recruitment, onboarding & HR system, advanced knowledge of Excel, as well as ability to adapt and learn new systems
