Kelly Services is looking for a Part time Office Clerk for immediate hire

Schedule- 9am to 2:30 pm Monday thru Friday.

Pay $15/hour

Position Function This position has entry-level responsibilities to support the administrative and customer service functions of the Human Resources department. The Human Resource Clerk duties are performed in accordance with the department policies, procedures, and guidelines, with general direction from the Human Resources Manager.

Position Duties

+ Support the administrative functions of all human resources responsibilities.

+ Serve as primary point of contact for all customer service duties, which includes all employees and external customers.

+ Maintain HR email boxes, retrieve and process regular mail deliveries.

+ Perform purchasing functions, including, but not limited to, creating purchase orders, direct vouchers, requests for budget transfers, and processing invoices., Process tuition preapproval and reimbursement forms.

+ Maintain all electronic files related to the department.

+ Request work orders for facilities maintenance.

+ Maintain internal HR spreadsheets and reports as required.

+ Run monthly and annual reports as required.

+ Order and maintain office supplies.

+ Plan, schedule, and take minutes of all meetings. Assists with recruitment and testing process.

+ Assists with planning, scheduling, and execution of events, such as new hire orientation, benefits open enrollment, job fairs, and other meetings.

+ Maintain and update intranet, wellness newsletters, announcements, training, etc. Comprehend and support all office policies of the department and Clerk s Office.

+ Other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Education, Experience Certification's

+ Associates degree preferred, or the equivalent mix of education and experience required

+ Three years of clerical experience in an administrative role required, HR experience preferred

+ Three years customer service experience required Intermediate level skills with MS Outlook, Word and Excel required

Knowledge, Skills Abilities

+ Proficiency in business English and business math required

+ Good organizational skills and attention to detail required

+ Effective communication, both orally and in writing

+ Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills required

+ Ability to work and make decisions under pressure and meet all deadlines, goals and objectives as set forth

+ Effective interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and professional demeanor required

+ Use tact in sensitive situations, maintain confidentiality of restricted files, and maintain a courteous attitude toward the public at all times

+ Work is performed under moderate supervision; requires initiative and independent judgment

+ Perform duties with considerable knowledge of procedures and computer operations

+ Demonstrate proficiency with operations and general care of the PC, printers and other required office equipment

+ Ability to work extended hours

Physical Requirements Office:

+ Majority of the time is spent sitting at the computer, remainder of the time is spent assisting in other functions

+ This position requires clear verbal interaction with employees, the public and agencies This position requires a significant amount of communication with others written, e-mail, and verbal This position may require bending and reaching

+ This position may require going to other departments and/or offices on different floors and/or buildings throughout the day

+ This position may require occasional travel to other sites to review products, or attend meetings, seminars or classes

+ Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
