Description Kelly Services is currently seeking an **HR Generalist/Crew Scheduler** **(2nd Shift)** for one of our top food manufacturing clients located in Louisville, KY.

**Job Title: HR Generalist/Crew Scheduler (2nd Shift)**
Location: Louisville, KY 40216
Type: Temp-To-Hire
Length: 12 months
Schedule: 2nd Shift, 2pm - 11pm, 40 hours/week, Estimated overtime: 5 hours
Training will be on 1st shift, may begin at 5:30 am
Pay Rate: $20 per hour

**Job Responsibilities:**


+ Prepare daily crew sheets and schedules for each department and/or work area
+ Contributing to efficient operations and maintaining labor relations by accurately scheduling employees according to the plant’s collective bargaining agreements
+ Reporting on HR metrics as needed, performing personnel file maintenance, and administering leaves of absence
+ Scheduling employees for a wide variety of off work events (such as vacations, leaves of absence, bereavement leaves, etc.) training and company functions, in accordance with existing policies, procedures and contractual constraints
+ Tracking and entering attendance into appropriate database(s) to issue discipline
+ Partnering with Shift Operations to process production paperwork, conduct investigations, issue attendance disciplines, and research grievances and complaints
+ Preparing training materials and maintaining documentation for new hire orientations, safety training, and job specific training
+ Maintaining and managing crewing, training, and other documentation (manually and/or electronically) in accordance to company document retention policies
+ Assisting with any other Generalist activities not defined including employee engagement activities
**Requirements:**


+ Superior, computer and typing skills. The schedule is built on an Excel spreadsheet and changes require efficient typing and editing.
+ Extreme attention to detail.
+ Proven strong ability to use independent critical thinking and decision making
+ Demonstrated commitment to customer service and needs of the business
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Effective organizational and time management skills
+ Ability to work weekends remotely, if needed. Scheduling changes may occur at a moment's notice requiring immediate action.
+ Candidate must be able to work under pressure - flexibility and the ability to work well within stressful situations.
+ Previous experience in a Human Resources environment
+ Intermediate to advanced computer skills – primarily Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
+ Associates Degree
**Preferences:**


+ Bachelors Degree in Human Resources
+ Previous experience working with a labor agreement in a union environment
+ Previous experience in a busy manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment
+ Knowledge of employment laws such as FMLA, FLSA, and ADA
+ Exposure to EEOC and Title VII regulations
