Our client is a multinational company that manufactures and sells flow creation, and other industrial products. They are currently seeking an HR Generalist to work in their Kent WA facility on a permanent basis; if interested, please apply below.


Position: HR Generalist

Contract Length: Contract of 3-4mons and then temp-to-hire.

Location: Kent WA

Hours: 8am-5pm

Days: Mon-Fri

Rate of Pay: DOE

Requirements: 1-3 years of experience and Bachelors degree in HR (or equivalent work experience)


**Job Details:**


The Human Resources Generalist is a key member of the HR plant team; assisting in roll out of company programs, processes, policies, guidelines and engagement activities. This position assists the Human Resource Manager and EHS Manager with recruitment, employee onboarding, training, engagement, compliance and recordkeeping, benefit administration and other people operation functions.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Recruits and manages the recruiting process including posting, temporary vendor management, screening, interviewing, pre-employment testing, offer creation, new hire onboarding, Safety and HR orientation and HRIS entry.

+ Assists the HR and EHS leader with implementation, administration, communication and employee education of company policies and procedures.

+ Benefit Administration: annual enrollment communications and support, coordination of biometrics activities, new hire enrollment training and coordination of EHS activities and events to build a safe and healthy work environment.

+ Develop and execute internal training programs.

+ Help leaders drive employee engagement, which includes supporting engagement survey events, engagement communications, program development and roll out.

+ Delivering a great internal customer experience for all levels of the plant by seeking to understand, listening and responding in a speedy and friendly manner.

+ Works collaboratively with HR leader to ensure legal compliance, assisting or conducting investigations and corrective actions as needed.

+ HRIS maintenance and management of hourly employee records.

+ Payroll timekeeping system administration and management


**Qualifications:**


+ Bachelors degree, preferably in Human Resources (or equivalent work experience)

+ 3+ years of human resources or recruiting experience

+ Experience with payroll.

+ HRCI or SHRM certification preferred

+ Excellent verbal, written, listening and interpersonal communication skills.

+ Proven organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization and follow-up skills.

+ Ability to work accurately with figures and to perform detailed work.

+ Must demonstrate ability to exercise judgment, initiative, use discretion and tact.

+ Comfort with technology and strong ability to learn new systems.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
