**Hours are 8AM-4:30PM.**



**Salary: $17.25/hr.**



**Duration: Contract to hire**



Job Description



Partner with the human resource team to complete departmental essential functions. Generates and maintains standard and custom reports used by the organization and within the department. Assists with the oversight and management of employee records. Assists in maintaining the employee portal and generating communication and correspondence for the human resource department




+ Assist in Human Resources and Benefits administrative functions

+ Responsible for record retention and destruction

+ Organize and maintain departmental employee records

+ Organize and maintain the HR shared network drive

+ Assist with organizing and conducting tours of National Headquarters for visitors and/or new employees

+ Backup the Assistant to the National Human Resources Director on entering requisitions and invoice information

+ Assist with updating records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) by entering changes in personal information, payment adjustments, departmental changes, new hires, terminations, bonuses, and any other applicable information

+ Search for and obtain information from system, files, or other sources

+ Consult, prepare, and produce reports for various levels of management by accessing the needed information from the HRIS system

+ Complete all employee information requests for external organizations including but not limited to loan applications and employment verifications

+ Receive, maintain, and respond to all correspondence from individual states pertaining to unemployment claims

+ Receive, summarize, and prepare all workplace accommodation requests for review by the HR Director

+ Coordinate approved leave programs through the authorized third party contractor, including but not limited to STD, FMLA, and ADA and ensure the company remains current on all changing Federal, State, and Local regulations

+ Handle workers compensation and OSHA recordkeeping

+ Responsible for the sending and receiving of employee information to an authorized third party contractor for employee anniversary tenure awards

+ Assist with the processing of hours in the timekeeping system for payroll and assist with entering and terminating temporary employees in the system and create badges as needed

+ Assist in the processing and adjudication of performance evaluations in the performance management system

+ Maintain employee confidence and protect HR operations by keeping all information confidential



Essential Skills and Experience:




+ Interest and true desire to work and grow in an HR function

+ Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

+ Excellent interpersonal tact and etiquette

+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

+ Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

+ Experience with Microsoft Office applications (experience in HRIS systems and Excel preferred)

+ High school diploma or equivalent required, collegiate degree or certification in an HR related field preferred
