HR SUPERVISOR NEEDED IN VERO BEACH - This is a temp-to-hire opportunity


Pay Rate: $21.00/hr.


Full-Time position: 8 - 5 Monday - Friday


Responsible for employment policies and procedures, overseeing payroll and rewards and recognition programs as well as managing workplace safety initiatives. Along with administering employee-benefit programs, the HR Supervisor role involves development programs for all employees. The HR supervisor will manage the assessment and protocols for all new trainees. The Supervisor it will be required to meet budget plans and targets set by the business for candidate recruitment.


SPECIFICATIONS OF DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


+ Handling employment relations issues such as grievances and employee welfare

+ Collaborating with other managers in the business, sometimes internationally, to ensure the smooth running of the company from a people perspective. Partnering with senior operational staff to establish and roll-out people-related strategy

+ Overseeing staff attendance and absence monitoring

+ Providing detailed HR reports to senior management teams

+ Administration of employee-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, new starter packs, or formal notices of termination

+ Leading new starter company inductions

+ Managing talent pools and succession plans to ensure the company can continue to operate in the future

+ Overseeing training and development of employees

+ Administering financial elements such as payroll, compensation and benefits, and pension schemes

+ Handling highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way

+ Work with Marketing/Sales Manager and Directors on future number requirements

+ Move candidates through the selection workflow, ensuring all candidates are communicated with at each stage

+ Conduct assessments, deliver presentations, provide assessor support, coordinate other assessors as required and ensure candidates are treated fairly and with respect throughout the event

+ Maintain up-to-date records for each event, and ensure appropriate communication is forwarded to each candidate

+ Design and run skills training sessions for assessors. Brief the assessment team and ensure they are kept up to date with any changes on the daily processes

+ Supervise third party supplier arrangements (external assessors), including directing their activity as required and ensuring high standards

+ Involvement in special projects as required

+ Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive

+ People oriented and results driven

+ Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics

+ Knowledge of HR systems and databases

+ Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills

+ Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills

+ Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

+ In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices

+ Previous recruitment, selection and assessment experience

+ Client relationship management

+ Previous candidate management experience

+ Excellent administration coordination

+ Resilience and able to work under pressure

+ Ability to recognize and deal with challenges promptly and efficiently

+ Attention to detail

+ Decision making

+ Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)

+ IT literacy

+ Protection of all candidate data during the selection process

+ Accurate time frames maintained for selection activity, including screening, testing and assessing sickness rates, staff turnover

+ Accountable for the health and safety of all candidates, assessors and others during the selection process

+ Maintaining high standards of data protection and candidate confidentiality, abiding by the relevant legislation

+ Effective safe communication with applicants, candidates, students and other departments (internal and external)

+ Maintenance of all candidate data within the parameters of the GDPR framework, ensuring no infringements

+ Ensure both own and the safety of other personnel in the working environment

+ Perform tasks in compliance with regulations and company procedures

+ Practice and promote the Companys Safety policy and participate in meetings
