**Job Description**



One of the leading plastic resin manufacturers worldwide is looking to add an experienced human resources BENEFITS SPECIALIST To their team!

Pay is $28 to $32 hourly (DOE).

This is a temporary project-based role for up to 6 months (it has the potential to become permanent depending on performance). Location is off the Bestway and Westheimer area (77042 ZIP). Standard office hours of Mondays thru Fridays from 8 AM to 5 PM with an hour lunch, with some overtime based on workload.

***REQUIRED: minimum of associate's degree and expert user of SAP.***


Title: Temporary HRIS / BENEFITS SPECIALIST

----> This temporary role provides administrative and operational support for the administration, design, service and delivery of active and retiree healthcare benefits and programs to employees and other plan participants. These benefits include, but are not limited to, medical, dental, pharmacy, vision, mental health/substance abuse, employee assistance program (EAP), healthcare savings accounts (HSA), and flexible spending accounts (FSA), pension, defined contribution - 401(k), workplace absence (work comp and disability). Responsibilities include executing assigned tasks for ongoing benefits administration and business transformation projects. The role has a heavy focus on U.S employee benefits, but may also include assignments across other countries in the Americas Region.

Education: Minimum Associates degree in business, finance, accounting, health, social sciences, or related field. Preferred Bachelor-s degree in in business, finance, accounting, health, social sciences, or related field.


Required skills:

- Experience in employee benefits with an emphasis on healthcare and retirement benefits

- Strong computer skills - SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- Analytical and problems solving skills

- Ability to work independently

- Verbal and written presentation skills

- Merger, acquisition & divestiture

- Large project experience working with a global employer

- Experience in claims adjudication and reporting


**Requirements**
