Hourly Rate: $ **23.44** /hour

Hours: CST 7AM-4PM (9 AM - 6 PM Brazil time)

Location: Remote

**Job Description**

1. The HR Specialist will support the Brazilian affiliate interacting with employees and HR community. Bi-Lingual fluency with Portuguese is required; Spanish is a bonus**Previous HR Work Experience / Workday experience preferred****12 month contract with extensions and possibility for conversion***Work Schedule: CST 7 - 4 PM (9 AM - 6 PM Brazil time)****Fully Remote PositionHR Specialist I (Human Resources Operations)The HR Specialist position will report directly to the LATAM HR Ops Lead, working closely with the HR team, collaborating to review our current local HR processes supported by HR Operations, educating our internal stakeholders on HR solutions and Portal. This professional is responsible for routine employees inquires related to the HR matters such as: vacation requests, salary payment, pay slip clarification, benefits inquires and HR Portal access. And provides Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service support when it is necessary.The HR Specialist will work close from local HR team [Brazil] processing employees salary changes in Workday, leaves of absence, hires and terminations. This role is responsible to manage and control HR policies related to HR Operations area as well as any document update.Responsibilities include employee (customer) coverage e-mail (primarily), chats and phone (least volume utilized), processing all Workday transactions for assigned countries, country specific projects, process reviews to enhance and leverage the HR Portal usage and adoption.Requirements include: previous experience in HR area at least 1-2 year [mandatory], strong working knowledge of Workday, stakeholder management skills, good customer survey feedback and strong language skills, both verbal and written, Portuguese and English to support Brazil operation.Language skills [Portuguese and English, Spanish would be nice to have]. Work time would be an 8 hour shift between 7 am 4 pm CST to accommodate Brazil time zone.Key Responsibilities Include: Open and manage ticket/cases using a specific HR platform [SalesForce] Answers general questions and redirects misplaced calls Leverages procedures, policy manuals, knowledge databases, other reference materials, etc. to answer employee and manager inquiries and resolving employee and manager HR transactions Guides HR Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service transactions Executes select HR related transactions (e.g., data changes) or appropriately escalates issues as needed Work with Payroll Team to guarantee employees and HR Request will be processed on time and paid as part of the payroll on cycle Inputs data into HR platform - Workday Documents all employee inquiries, issues, and transactions in case management tools (Sales Force) as required Participates in continuous improvement workshops and projects as requested Participates in Brazil ad hoc projects as requiredBasic: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Specific language skills requirement - Portuguese and English (Spanish a plus) Strong communication skills - writing and speaking* Minimum of 1 - 2 years professional experience in HR (Payroll, Talent Acquisition, HR Administration, Benefits, etc.) Familiar with HR service and processes as well as HRIS tools and systems Able to navigate computerized data entry systems and other relevant applications Able to follow standard procedures and processes Able to escalate issues timely to the right group Ability to handle confidential and sensitive informationAdditional Details Are you open to look at candidates willing to relocate? No (US based, fully remote) Years of experience/education and/or certifications required: 0-2 years in a customer service, service center or HR;HS Diploma or GED equivalent required, recently graduated from college preferred. This is a service center environment serving employees with HR colleagues and payroll team.Will be provided two weeks training.

Proactive, sharp individuals who will work to resolve issues the first time through, escalating only as needed.

Our team is a positive group and has great team dynamics.

Service is provided via phone calls, chats and emails. They try to switch out the day to day activities to avoid 100% "Call Center" environment and to make it active and fun for the group.

Interview process will start with 30 minutes with the manager, another 30 minutes for language assessment and a final 30 minutes with someone from the LATAM office.

Work Schedule (Define days,# of hours)/ Is Overtime offered or required: The Service Center is open from 7 AM 6 PM, M-F and this candidate will need to work 8 hours within this timeframe.
