Most of this position will be virtual.

Hybrid role in the Dallas Texas area or Salt Lake City Utah


Monday-Friday, No weekends

40 hours a week, 8 hours a day


**This role,will:**

Coach people managers on effective performance and talent management treatment of individuals and teams, aligning to support of and improvement of the colleague experience.

Address employment issues, individual or collective, arising through the employee lifecycle.

Raise questions, concerns and recommend potential solutions to any performance management issues to assure effective HR implementation and ongoing improvement of processes.

Help identify colleague life cycle trends, and develop HR policies, processes and procedures, common tools, templates and approaches to effectively manage employee relations matters, and also creates and/or conducts appropriate trainings for managers.

Participate in ad hoc HR project teams to support operations implementation of HR initiatives.


**The Role**

**Key Accountabilities**

Demonstrate broad-based HR knowledge and experience in providing on-site support to Service Center and other department Managers and Supervisors on end to end colleague life cycle processes: sourcing and selection; onboarding; benefits; performance management, rewards (including pay construct variations); engagement, development and end of assignments

Establish and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders and colleagues; develop understanding of business drivers and how the line of business grows revenue and increases market share.

Manage and handle employee relations policies and issues; ensuring adherence to unique jurisdictional requirements and the determination of policy. This will include colleague life cycle events, workplace investigations and the implications of business change.

Provide effective case management of issues such as disciplinary action, performance management, resolution of colleague complaints and facilitation of termination and exit processes for involuntary separations.

Provide guidance on a variety of human resources related issues (i.e. Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), wage and hour, harassment, Americans with Disabilities (ADA), discrimination, colleague disputes, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), etc.) to ensure effective, legally compliant resolutions are established efficiently and within company guidelines.

Provide interpretive guidance on HR policies, practices, and procedures.

Manage and support the Background Adjudication team as the escalation point for complicated background findings and partner with the business and Legal team as needed to ensure effective, legally compliant decisions are made regarding hiring

Demonstrate agile and curious mindset to troubleshoot and navigate issue resolution of operational and business continuity issues, real-time while leveraging business and corporate function networks.

Enable the inclusion and diversity strategy and support initiatives within the locations ensuring businesses are owning these initiatives for their colleagues.

Understand employee life cycle processes and interdependencies. See the connections in processes as they extend beyond the boundaries of HR to other corporate functions; work collaboratively to involve other corporate functions and business systems experts to address and mitigate potential downstream and upstream issues or impacts.

Resolve issues and identify process improvements to assure seamless implementation and effective candidate and colleague experience as an outcome of core HR processes.

Provide other support as needed within Human Resources team for projects and peak capacity periods as well as broader HR team priorities.


**The Requirements**

5+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience, with a focus on Employee Relations, Policies, and HR processes

Prior experience in a Service Center environment preferred

Bachelors degree, MS and/or SPHR preferred

Strong collaboration skills and experience working with and across multiple functional areas of HR and with multiple levels

In-depth knowledge of current federal and state employment law and legislation

Ability to analyze problems and provide objective and sound guidance

Organized, highly motivated and a quick learner; able to work with limited supervision

Proactive, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment, which demands a high level of energy and commitment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to travel 10%, along with the ability to manage assignments in a virtual environment
