Description **Job Description**

Kelly Services is currently seeking a part time Benefits Coordinator a Bachelor Degree OR 4 years of benefits or human resources experience for one of our top clients, E & J Gallo in Modesto CA.

This is a temporary position and person would be hired as a Kelly Temporary Employee placed at our client site, E & J Gallo Winery. Temporary assignment length will vary based off workload, estimated to be 3-4 months long.

Work schedule is flexible, part time estimated 24 hours per week- preferred Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8am- 5pm.

Applicant must meet all minimum qualification in order to be considered.

What You Need

- Bachelor-s degree -OR- 4 years of benefits or human resources experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility

- Customer service experience

- Skills in operating standard office equipment to include personal computer

- Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook at the basic level

What You Will Do

Customer Service:

- Provide superb customer service support to employees and retirees

- Work with internal teams to coordinate new hire, termination, and retirement information

- Respond to all questions regarding eligibility, plan information and claims via phone and email

- Maintain a strong relationship with external carriers and vendors

Benefits Administration:

- Prepare and maintain employee files, assuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality

- Research and collaborate with our System Administrators to resolve eligibility system issues

- Efficiently resolve escalated claim issues with insurance carriers

What Will Set You Apart

- Bachelor-s Degree plus 2 years Benefits or Human Resources experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility

- Proficient knowledge of health care reform and other benefit-related compliance requirements

- Experience in using a HRIS System, preferably PeopleSoft

- Experience managing privileged and confidential information Concise communication skills with employees in potentially stressful situations

- The ability to work independently or with a team strategically

- Ability to establish priorities and time management skills

- Prior experience of benefits administration through an HRIS or experience using PeopleSoft or other related HRIS

- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work under tight deadlines

- CEBS certification or PHR, SPHR, GPHR, or SHRM-SCP/CP certification strongly preferred
