Kelly is seeking an HR Business Partner to work for our client, a Fortune 500 retail company, at one of its distribution sites located in Cheyenne, WY. This is an excellent opportunity for HR professionals who enjoy managing directly from the floor and who want to put their strategic and leadership capabilities to use within a reputable organization that has seen over 100 years of success nationwide!


The HR Business Partner will:


+ Partner with site leadership to engage and coach 600+ associates on the floor to promote a customer service culture

+ Manage by walking around, staying connected to site leaders and associates to ensure positive employee relations and engagement

+ Supervise a team of HR Coaches and HR ASAs

+ Promote high-performance through coaching, constructive and honest regular feedback, and the annual performance evaluation process

+ Provide guidance, coaching, and consultation to develop site people leaders

+ Participate in the interview and selection process for site people leaders

+ Identify development solutions and provide consulting to leaders on how to effectively accelerate the development of associates

+ Encourage associates and people leaders to embrace new philosophies, technologies, and company initiatives

+ Partner with leaders to ensure strategic plans drive business results, optimize customer service, and align with company values

+ Lead talent assessment and development discussions with site leaders

+ Contribute to the development of people strategies

+ Support and influence key operational and strategic decisions

+ Use organizational diagnostics to proactively identify and react to key talent/employee engagement challenges and opportunities in the business

+ Promote adoption and effective use of company programs such as reward, recognition, talent, and communication programs

+ Lead conversations with site teams on sourcing, recruiting and staffing plans and partner with Talent Acquisition team to determine and support hiring plans

+ Partner with Field Leadership on strategic community outreach and engagement


Qualifications:


+ Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field

+ 6+ years of progressive HR experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and/or authority

+ Industry experience in retail, distribution, supply chain, or a similar field in an environment with multiple hundred associates is highly desirable

+ 4+ years HR Generalist experience across multiple disciplines while interpreting and applying HR policies, procedures, programs, and processes

+ 4+ years experience directly or indirectly managing or supervising others
