Kelly is seeking an HR Business Partner to work with our reputable mid-size manufacturing client at their Fargo and West Fargo sites on a direct hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organization that has accomplished over 75 years of success nationwide!


The HR Business Partner will:


+ Align business objectives with employees and management

+ Serve as a consultant to management on HR related issues

+ Act as a champion and change agent for 150-200 employees

+ Assess and anticipate HR related needs

+ Conduct and/or attend meetings with respective site leadership

+ Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies

+ Manage employee relations issues

+ Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance

+ Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)

+ Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention

+ Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation

+ Identify training needs for business units and works with training coordinator to implement


Qualifications:


+ 3+ years of related HR experience with demonstrated knowledge of HR theories and practices

+ HR related degree or certification is desirable but not required

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Effective coaching skills

+ Strong organization skills

+ Positive energy that sets the tone for the morale and dynamic at the sites

+ Ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively

+ Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace

+ Ability to get along well with and relate to a variety of personalities and individuals

+ Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
