Kelly is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to work with our non-profit client, a provider of affordable housing services, on a direct hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to step foot into a mission-driven organization that has been changing lives for 50 years!


The Human Resources Business Partner will:


+ Partner with the HR Director to create and facilitate training programs

+ Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, and continuing education

+ Maintain all compliance activities related to the Affirmative Action Program

+ Bring pay equity requests to the weekly compensation meeting for discussion and resolution

+ Partner with the Recruitment Team on hiring strategy when necessary

+ Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs

+ Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits and leave, disciplinary matters, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition and morale, and occupational health and safety

+ Manage issues related to employee relations including but not limited to disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations

+ Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices

+ Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law

+ Review HRIS data and run reports as needed for daily work and special projects


Qualifications:


+ 5+ years of relevant HR experience

+ Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms/ATS systems

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational and detail orientation skills

+ Strong interpersonal skills; ability to coach employees and management through challenging situations that may be emotional

+ Proven ability to effectively resolve issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, and legal regulations

+ Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
