Kelly is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to work with our non-profit client, a provider of affordable housing services, on a direct hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to step foot into a mission-driven organization that has been changing lives for 50 years!

+ Direct hire opportunity

+ Located in St. Paul, MN

+ $75,000-$80,000/yr

+ Full time, Monday-Friday


+ Administers and develops the Compensation Program, including developing salary ranges and accurate job descriptions

+ Fields inquiries from employees regarding policy and procedure, responds as necessary.

+ Ensures all employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints are communicated to the HR Director.

+ Conducts grievance and harassment investigations as appropriate.

+ Drafts/revises HR policy and procedure. Takes initiative to develop new policies as appropriate.

+ Participates in developing and achieving department goals, objectives, and systems.

+ Receives and respond to employee and supervisor inquiries regarding LOA policies and processes.

+ Counsel employees and supervisors on leave policies and processes.

+ Coordinate FMLA, ADA and workers compensation as needed.

+ Coordinates with payroll and other human resources members to facilitate updating compensation, benefits and leave status.

+ Monitors and responds to communications for Unemployment Insurance.

+ Chairs organizational committees as assigned by the Human Resources Director.

+ Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.


+ Bachelors degree in HR/Industrial Relations, Business or other similarly related field, plus five years experience in human resources.

+ Experience administering/developing compensation programs strongly preferred

+ Superior ability and application of windows-based software and use of MS-Office software.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills; proven ability to coach employees and management through difficult issues

+ Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

+ Excellent organizational and detail orientation skills

+ Ability to work independently and effectively multi-task
