The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes for the Sunnyvale and Newark locations. This position resolves employee-related problems and ensures positive employee outcomes. The Human Resource Coordinator ensure HR plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS (Workday) entry.


In this position, you will apply a variety of methods to ensure you provide critical support to the Sr. Manager HR and the HRBP team - understanding the strengths, opportunities, and overall health of the Newark and Sunnyvale manufacturing businesses. You will provide support to HR and the business in support of employee lifecycle processes such as hiring, terminations, movement, job changes, rewards, reporting and stretch assignments as needed. You'll coordinate/project manage HR programs while providing project and process coordination across a wide variety of HR activities.


The HR Coordinator will be required to follow all policies and procedures provided by the company and will comply with its training not limited to confidentiality and the handling of personally identifiable information.


The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in an environment where adherence to policies and procedures is required. They exhibit sound judgment, exceptional interpersonal skills and can elicit information delicately from people.


This position is FT temporary and is at will. Continued employment may be dependent on the volume of work.


Essential Functions


+ Provide tactical support for the Workforce Planning processes including reporting, forecasting, monitoring, and maintaining quality data using HR-related systems and tools.

+ Generate ad-hoc reports and dashboard analytics, you'll understand and reconcile gaps, overlaps, and apparent contradictions among and within data, reports, and reporting tools.

+ Update materials and systems to capture position and org changes.

+ Support leaders with a variety of HR-related topics including but not limited to performance management, employee relations, Team, and Talent activities, policy interpretation, and compensation/benefits administration.

+ In addition, you will provide advice and consultation to employee on people-related issues and concerns and where needed follow escalation paths to the HRBPs.

+ You will work closely with HRBPs, HR Info, HR specialist partners, and other HR teams to ensure HR processes and services are delivered with excellence.

+ Share ideas on continuous process improvements, key takeaways across the team, and support initiatives, in close partnership with the Newark and Sunnyvale HR teams.

+ Support COVID intake, contact tracing and communication as needed to ensure the safety and compliance of the Newark and Sunnyvale staff, as needed.

Qualifications


+ Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or a related field or a combination of relevant experience, education, and training

+ 1-2 years of demonstrable experience across HR, customer service, operations, reporting, or related area

+ Experience with HR metrics and data to story tell and provide decision support

+ Proven capability of working with partners to develop, implement and audit HR programs, initiatives, systems, policies, and procedures

+ Proven track record of calmly, confidently, and confidentially engaging with management and employee relations to address opportunities and needs, as appropriate

+ Strong result-orientation and problem-solving skills to ensure optimal employee experience

+ Intermediate proficiency with Workday, Excel and/or other data visualization tools preferred
