**Job Description**


Kelly is seeking a Human Resource Director to work as a direct hire at a company in Shreveport, LA. The HR Director is responsible for guiding policy changes, helping to implement services and programs that are beneficial to the company and its employees, and helping to keep the company in compliance with all state and governmental regulations. This position is crucial to the overall success of the company and helps focus the efforts of all departments to maintain an atmosphere of safety. This position reports directly to the Principal with active communication with all employees.


**Requirements**


Primary Job Duties:


Communicate daily with employees to administer company information and forms, i.e., hiring, disciplinary, and/or termination documentation

Review active documents for necessary updates based on current state and governmental policies, or based on company needs, such as safety or compliance

Address questions and concerns that may arise from management and employees

Pro-actively address compliance and safety issues

Work with outside professionals on legal, compliance and/or employee benefits matters

Maintain confidential employee files and personnel files

Work closely with all employees on confidential matters

Document all issues that need to be maintained in personnel files

Keep up-to-date on temp-to-perm employees to help alert management to a decision deadline

Work closely with temporary agencies to bring on temporary employees as needed

Work closely with managers to determine their staffing needs

Monitor and help to guide management on disciplinary and compliance matters

File employment information with the state for all direct hire and terminated employees and complete all Workers' Compensation filings when necessary

Post jobs on job boards and social media as directed

Review all incoming resumes- and applications for openings and correspond with each applicant as needed

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


B.S or B.A. in Human Resources, or a related field, is desired, but work experience may be substituted

SHRM CP is preferred

Experience working with social media sites to post jobs and communicate with applicants

Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience in the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs

Evidence of experience working with a high-level of confidential information

Excellent organizational skills
